AI Virtual Staging

The Splat Labs AI Image Generator lets you recreate any viewpoint inside your 3D scene as a photorealistic AI-generated image. Using a text prompt, you can re-imagine that exact camera angle — adding furniture, removing clutter, changing finishes, or staging a space from scratch — all without leaving the platform.

This feature is powered by Google Gemini AI and works directly inside the 3D viewer.

How It Works

1. Navigate to any position in your 3D scene. The AI uses your current viewpoint as the basis for the generated image. What you see in the viewer is what gets re-imagined.
2. Open the AI Image Generator panel within the Splat Labs viewer.
3. Write a prompt describing what you want the scene to look like. Be specific about furniture style, room purpose, lighting, and atmosphere.
4. Generate the image. The AI recreates that exact camera angle with your described changes applied.
5. Save and download the result as a high-resolution image for use in presentations, proposals, or marketing materials.

Writing Effective Prompts

For best results, describe furniture placement, room purpose, lighting conditions, and desired atmosphere in your prompt.

Example prompt:

Modern living room with gray sectional sofa, glass coffee table, and warm evening lighting.

Tips for stronger prompts:

• Specify the room type (living room, office, retail storefront, etc.)
• Describe furniture style and materials (modern, industrial, Scandinavian; wood, metal, fabric)
• Include lighting conditions (natural daylight, warm evening, bright commercial lighting)
• Mention the atmosphere or mood (professional, cozy, open, minimal)
• Add brand or design details when staging for a specific client

When you have an empty space and need to help a client or buyer visualize what it could look like, the AI Image Generator can furnish and decorate it on demand.
