Gaussian Splatting is a revolutionary 3D representation technique that creates photorealistic, navigable 3D scenes. Unlike traditional mesh or point cloud approaches, Gaussian Splats render faster, look more realistic, and produce smaller file sizes.
Do I need special hardware to use Splat Labs?
No! Splat Labs Cloud accepts Gaussian Splats from any source — including:
- PortalCam (our hardware)
- Lixel L2 Pro (our hardware)
- Postshot
- Luma AI
- Polycam
- And many more...
If you can create a splat, we can host it.
What devices can view my projects?
Splat Labs projects work on:

How accurate are the measurements?
Measurement accuracy depends on your capture method:
