Initial Setup
Step 1: Charge the Batteries
- Connect the battery to the included charger
- Charge fully before first use
- Repeat for the second battery
Do not power on the device when the battery level is below 5% — it can damage the mainboard. Fully charge batteries after each day of use, and recharge a fully depleted battery within 3 days. Batteries in storage should be topped up at least every 3 months.
Step 2: Download LixelGO App
Install on your smartphone:
- iOS: Search "LixelGO" in the App Store
- Android: Search "LixelGO" in Google Play
Step 3: Connect the Scanner
- Clip in a charged battery and power on the K2
- Attach your phone using the included phone mount
- Open LixelGO and connect to the device
- Follow the pairing wizard
Step 4: Activate LixelStudio
Your purchase includes lifetime license keys for LixelStudio:
- Download LixelStudio from xgrids.com
- Install on your computer
- Enter your license key — activation works online or offline
- No dongle required
Contact our support team with your device serial number if you need your LixelStudio activation codes.
Care and Handling
The LiDAR module is a precision instrument. Avoid impacts and do not touch the optics.
- Store in the protective case when not in use
- Operating temperature: -20°C to +50°C
- IP54 rated — protected against dust and water splashes, but do not operate in the rain; water-ingress damage is not covered under warranty
- Clean the LiDAR optics only with the included cloth, wiping gently in one direction
- Clean the camera lenses before and after each use
- Small amounts of alcohol are acceptable on the cameras — never on the body or LiDAR lens (it damages the finish)
