Lixel K2
Lightweight handheld 3D scanner for engineering-grade capture
Lixel K2
The Gold Standard in Lightweight Scanning.
The Lixel K2 is XGRIDS' lightweight handheld spatial scanner — a 1.2 kg professional-grade SLAM device that combines LiDAR, a multi-camera array, an IMU, and an integrated RTK module to deliver engineering-grade 3D capture in real-world conditions.

Key Features
Built for Projects Where Weight Matters
At 1.2 kg — about 30% lighter than the Lixel L2 Pro — the K2 is comfortable for full-day indoor scanning, heritage documentation, real estate capture, and stockpile work.
Integrated RTK
RTK is built directly into the chassis instead of being an add-on: fewer parts to carry, faster setup, and one less accessory to forget. Visual-aided positioning keeps tracking reliable when GNSS gets thin, and the SLAM engine handles fully GPS-denied interiors.
Engineering-Grade Accuracy
| Measurement | Value |
|---|---|
| Absolute accuracy (RMSE) | 3 cm vertical and horizontal |
| Relative accuracy (RMSE) | 1 cm |
| Repeatability (RMSE) | 2 cm |
| Post-processed cloud thickness | ≤ 1 cm |
Wall distances, window dimensions, and clearances are dependable enough to drive real estate measurement, as-built dimensioning, heritage preservation, and stockpile volumetrics straight from the scan.
One Scan, Multiple Deliverables
- On-device preview — Colorized point cloud viewable in LixelGO during and immediately after scanning, so you can verify coverage and tracking quality before leaving the site
- Survey-grade
.LASpoint cloud — Produced by desktop post-processing in LixelStudio - Mesh — Editable, structured 3D models generated in LCC
- 3D Gaussian Splatting — Photorealistic spatial reconstruction via Lixel CyberColor (LCC 2)
The on-device output is a preview for on-site quality verification — a desktop post-processing step in LixelStudio / LCC Studio is required to produce the final survey-grade deliverables.
Deployment Options
- Handheld — Phone mount included for real-time monitoring
- Extension Pole — Optional accessory for high ceilings, soffits, and façades
For drone, vehicle, or backpack deployment, the Lixel L2 Pro is the right choice.
Software Included
- LixelGO App — Mobile control, live preview, and device monitoring
- LixelStudio — Desktop post-processing (lifetime licenses included)
- Lixel CyberColor (LCC 2) — Gaussian Splat creation
