Initial Setup
Step 1: Charge the Battery
- Remove the battery from the PortalCam
- Connect to the included power adapter
- Charge until the LED turns green (approximately 2 hours)
You can also charge while the battery is inserted in the PortalCam.
Step 2: Download the LCC App
Download the companion app on your smartphone:
- iOS: Search "LCC" in the App Store
- Android: Search "LCC" in Google Play
Step 3: Pair Your Phone
- Turn on the PortalCam (hold power button for 3 seconds)
- Open the LCC app
- Follow the pairing instructions
- Connect via Bluetooth
Step 4: Activate Your Splat Labs Account
Your PortalCam includes 1 year of Splat Labs Starter Plan:
- Go to cloud.rockrobotic.com
- Create an account (or log in)
- Enter your activation code (found in the Quick Start Guide)
- Your Starter plan is activated!

Care and Handling
Important: Do not touch the fisheye lenses. Fingerprints can affect image quality.
- Store in the protective case when not in use
- Keep away from extreme temperatures (-20°C to 45°C operating range)
- Avoid direct sunlight on the lenses
- Use the included cleaning cloth for maintenance
